Adminstration Team
This team is responsible for the overall administrative needs of the charity. Tasks include but are not limited to:
Managing the charity's database of members, mailing list, facebook page and twitter
account.
Creating templates for official documents related to the charity for use by all departments,
consistent with branding rules concerning font, style and language.
Supporting all departments in any administrative needs (e.g. sending e-mails to the mailing list
about events).

Marketing and PR Team
This team is responsible for maintaining the public image of the charity and for the marketing of all events and projects associated with the charity.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Researching communications outlets.
Planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies using all forms of media and communications to manage the reputation of the charity.
Liaising with other departments to ensure consistent branding of charity.
Work with Admin team to compile comprehensive information about the charity for answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations, via telephone and email.
Researching, writing and distributing effective press releases to reach the charity's target audience.
Collating and analysing media coverage.
Devising and coordinating photo opportunities.
Providing updated information for the charity's website.
Sourcing and managing speaking and exposure opportunities.
Working with the Multimedia Team to prepare and supervise the production of publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos and multimedia programs that serve to reach the charity's objectives to the public.

Multimedia Team
This team is responsible for the overall administrative needs of the charity. Tasks include but are not limited to:

Sponsorship Team
This team is responsible for securing sponsorship for the administrative costs of the charity, its activities and events.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Investigating sponsorship opportunities from:
The commercial business sector
Government and local councils/communities
High net worth individuals
Organisations in charity sector
Entertaining sponsors and dignitaries at charity events.
Producing follow up literature to sponsors in the form of thank you letters, press coverage and charity updates in order to encourage ongoing relationships.
Where necessary, co-ordinating sub-committee and volunteers to help seek sponsorship through personal contact.
Working closely with Marketing and Admin teams to formulate sponsorship proposals and presentations for different types of potential sponsors.

Fundraising and Events Team
This team is responsible for raising donations for the projects of the charity.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Managing and prioritising amongst various fundraising event proposals.
Managing the allocated budget for an event and ensuring the fundraising target for each event is met.
Keep detailed financial records of each event.
Organising and executing fundraising events.
Laising with other departments (such as Admin, Multimedia and Marketing and PR) to ensure that all aspects of the organisation of an event are covered.
Ensure a wide enough variety of fundraising events are carried out, differing in scope, audience, scale and type (for example: bucket collections,
sporting events, gala dinners).

External Relations Team
This team is responsible for managing the charity's collaborations with other organisations.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Maintaining the charity's current collaborations with external organisations or projects.
Assessing the potential costs and benefits associated with a proposed collaborations.
Researching organisations or projects in existence whose goals or work coincide with our charity's and approach those which would be of benefit to the charity with collaboration proposals.

Please note: All of the positions on offer are voluntary and unpaid, however commitment and reliability are essential if you would like to join one of our teams. Draw a Smile depends on the quality of its volunteers, without whom it would not be where it is today.
Despite this, we would welcome people who know that they only have limited time to commit or would only like to do so occasionally, since we are always in need of passionate and enthusiastic people to help in whatever way they can. The most important thing is a genuine commitment to our vision and mission and an active desire to contribute to our work.
