Draw a Smile was set up in October 2009 by 3 young professionals in London. Since then, it has grown substantially to over 3000 members and supporters across the world; from the UK, to Holland, to Dubai, to China, to Australia, to the US - with scores of countries in between. We are all united by our love for children and our responsibility to help others.

A world where all children have access to learning opportunities that nurture personal growth and encourage self-confidence for a future filled with smiles.

To develop orphans and disadvantaged children by providing essential material and non-material support to help build character. We strive to bridge the learning gap between children and increase the opportunities available, empowering all to make effective choices. We aim to 'Draw a Smile' on the faces of all the children we support, encouraging active involvement in the advancement of developing countries.

To achieve this, we work to:
- Provide wide-ranging learning opportunities to promote the intellectual development of children and young adults; including access to formal education, vocational training and developing 'street-smart' skills.

- Contribute to the material development of individuals and families, teaching valuable life skills to increase employability.

- Nurture the physical development of people in need by implementing healthcare initiatives and spreading awareness of sustainable health-improving practices.

- Thoroughly researching the areas in which we work, listening closely to and engaging with local communities to promote collaborative, sustainable development in which people lead their own advancement.

- Youth-focussed collaboration, to encourage the fulfilment of aspirations through ownership of projects; from idea generation through to completion.

- Fostering a common identity between all branches of our charity, to maintain a consistent approach throughout our teams and our work.

- Establishing effective partnerships with reputable and experienced individuals and organisations around the world who share our vision.
